We built GreatSpaces to discover the best locations to open and expand business. Creating a product leverages tech scale and urban data decisions to deliver value for people searching their location.

QuintoAndar – Senior Data Analyst – São Paulo/SP, Sep/2019 – May-2022

QuintoAndar is the largest real estate rent platform in Brazil.

10 lessons I learned being a Data Analyst at QuintoAndar

• 💡 Discover insights on complex/unclear problems driving business operations and product strategy (e.g. demand conversion funnel, marketplace dynamics, top of funnel)
• 📈 Create metrics to quantify specific product, operations and business aspects; to manage, assess and drive the right decisions and actions (e.g. agents & visits, funnel conversion metrics, tenants experience)
• 🧪 Enable product experiments with end-to-end analytics, from discover opportunities, creating scenarios/thresholds, metrics to measure impact and deploy with confidence (e.g. docens of experiments including visits product A/Bs, causal impact on changing flows, agent allocations models)
• 🎲 Create models and governance, to manage new data on the business, known processes to automate, or to operate better at scale (e.g. talk to agent, agent with keys, agents displacements, photographers, monitoring)
• 🎓 Promote data culture across the company, to increase the team autonomy and productivity over time (e.g. empowering people to leverage existing data and analysis, teaching skills such as SQL and actionable metrics, dataviz mini course, onboard new hires, give informal data mentorships)
